Discord Bot, 2021

A multipurpose Discord bot managing persistent user notes, recurring reminders, and AFK status tracking across servers.

  • Built a modular command handler that dynamically loads and categorizes 20+ commands from a versioned folder structure, with alias resolution and per-user cooldowns.
  • Implemented a persistent note system using SQLite, allowing users to create, edit, and delete notes entirely within Discord.

Flag Parsers

Node.js Package, 2021

A lightweight, reusable library for parsing CLI-style flags (--flag, --flag:option) from user input in JavaScript applications.

  • Designed four composable parser variants covering the String and Array input types, with and without --flag:option parameters, for flexible reuse across projects
  • Implemented flag extraction using regular expressions with positional anchoring to correctly handle leading vs. inline flags
  • Added configurable flag-count limiting, allowing callers to cap the number of parsed flags while preserving remaining tokens as positional arguments
  • Packaged and published the utility as a standalone, reusable module extracted from a production Discord bot codebase
